Notes:

"Discord Unique Bot" is a bot you can invite to any server to give a role to people who are BrightID verified

It's the fastest way to integrate BrightID and hundreds of servers have done it

Our plan:

Scan inside of buildings with the lidar scanners that come with the ipad pro/iphone 12
Take pictures of fire exit plans
Somehow upload the plans to OSM
Figure out how to map indoors
Have map-a-thons using the scans and plans
Work on the routing algorithm
Test out the routing with a drone

Currently:

Maitri, Nora, and I are leading the project
We're applying for grants to pay for the work we're putting in and any supplies needed for mapathons

There's a deadline coming up at the end of the week, so this is our current focus

We'll start with the Battle Building to scan, take pics of the fire exit plans, and figure out how to map

hopefully by this weekend or next week

First meeting with Maitri Patel UVa, SoM 2024 - Maitri is going to be leading the project going from 3d scanning app -> floorplan that we can put in to open street map. From there we may be able to look at integrating with floor level routing. Additionally discussed the possibility of generating tactile maps as an output

- If you need a public dashboard product we probably help you get from tljh.codeforcville.org over to share.streamlit.io
Github integration is there - you have to set up stuff
Diagram tool is useful
Environment variables are a thing - if you plan on using secrets for access to stuff we’d like to keep that out of code & currently using environment variables for that

The owner of Infinity Acres (https://www.infinityacres.org/) needed help setting up an online store for the services offered at their place of business.

1) set up meeting with owner to assess their needs

2) defined needs clearly with owner

3) familiarized ourselves with the Square dashboard

3) over the period of the next few weeks (based on availability of owner and volunteers), we conducted several zoom calls to meet the needs of the owner while educating the owner on how they would be able to maintain their needs moving forward within the Square dashboard

4) met the needs of the owner with instructions on how to contact CFC should any unseen complications arise.

5) 8.17.21 - was contacted by owner about low stock notifications. Disabled stock tracking since this was no longer needed. Confirmed with owner.

We delivered a first report on the data to LAJC since migrating to the postgres DB. Having this data in a DB enabled the team to put these numbers together in an afternoon. We are now looking at bringing in volunteers to extend the dashboarding tools

From Christ Proto - adding the first test going from tljh.codeforcville.org and testing a connection with the Ganache CLI
